10' Container Units

They are easily stackable and can be modified to create unique and functional structures. They have been used to create everything from small sheds to multi-story buildings, making them a versatile and eco-friendly alternative to traditional building materials.

   

10FT Containers are made from what we call a Duo-Con Shipping Container

Duo-Con shipping containers are specially constructed 20-foot containers that are designed to be cut in half to create two 10-foot containers. The reason why two 10-foot containers are joined is so that the container can be used to ship cargo using a standard 20’ shipping container configuration before it’s turned into a 10-foot shipping container. as you can not ship a 10FT container over sea they are not standarized for shipping lines. 

Once the Duo-Con has been cut in half it requires welding the 2 supplied bulkhead walls to each of the containers. Once this is completed you have two 10-foot containers complete with corner casting on each corner. Typically you will get one with the standard cargo doors, and the other we will isntall a roll up door. 

An alternative to a Dual Con container is modifying a 20’ shipping container by shortening it to 10’ or any custom size in between 20’ and 5’. Options for closing the open end included reinstalling the bulkhead end with corner castings, roll up door or welding shut with flat or corrugated metal.
