Wind and Water Tight (WWT):
Looking for the most economical yet functional solution for your Storage Container? Wind and Water Tight or “WWT containers” are the most affordable yet functional cargo boxes you will find. These units are typically randomly colored and contain surface rust mainly where they have been scratched or dented. When you work with Derkson Containers, your Storage Container will be extremely durable, so ask your sales rep about this particular condition category, as it is the most cost efficient portable storage solution.
Cargo Worthy Units:
The title pretty much says it all. Cargo worthy means just that. A cargo worthy shipping container has been inspected and carries a damage-free certification. If your needs include shipment or there is a chance you may want to ship your container in the future, we recommend purchasing a cargo worthy storage container. Although this conditional category is a must for shipping we have found these containers insure a higher quality storage or special project unit.

Can I pick a color?
The most common question we get is, “can I pick a color” and the answer is sort of, sometimes. Because we’re essentially getting the next container off the stack at the intermodal depot that meets the criteria you requested, we can’t select a color. For used containers we are unable to allow the customer to request their color, however, if we have the colour you want in our yard, than yes, Now with that said, we can offer beige and grey color options for One Trip containers. If you’re ordering multiple units, we can usually guarantee matching units (upon request, based on availability).
We recommend pressure washing and painting used containers, to get the colour you want, we can quote you paint if you want have done prior to delivery.

INSULATED GARAGE DOORS
Our insulated garage doors are a great entry alternative that provides insulated access to any side of the shipping container. The doors are made of aluminum and come equipped with a locking mechanism and key to better protect your belongings. Our doors come standard with a full set of rubber weather stripping and bottom gasket, keeping the elements out. The size of these doors also makes loading the container more efficient because they provide sufficient forklift access, but sizes can be customized upon request.
