DCS — Derkson Container Sales
DCS PURCHASING SUPPORT

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Derkson provides container delivery and specialized hauling using equipment selected for the unit, route and delivery site. Your written quote confirms the final route, services, pricing and taxes.

Complete-route pricing

Delivery pricing may include truck positioning, the loaded trip, return to base, container load fees, fuel surcharge and any additional services selected. Route distance and site information must be confirmed before dispatch.

Tilt-off delivery

Derkson provides ground-level tilt-off delivery only. Our driver will position the container as closely as reasonably and safely possible using the available truck and trailer access, but exact final positioning is not guaranteed.

Customer site responsibilities

The customer must provide safe, firm and reasonably level access with adequate width, height, turning room and clear straight-line space for the complete truck, trailer and container. Please review our delivery space requirements before delivery day.

Forklift or crane work

If the container must be lifted, rotated, moved after drop-off or placed where safe tilt-off access is unavailable, the customer must arrange a properly rated forklift or crane and qualified operator at the customer’s cost.

Delays and unsafe access

The driver may refuse unsafe access or placement. Waiting time, return trips, redelivery, recovery, site damage caused by unsuitable conditions and third-party equipment may be charged separately when applicable.
